TWINKLE, TWINKLE

Certain she's made Santa's “Nice List,” Cece Wynn shares her star-studded Christmas wish list

TWINKLE, TWINKLE

Forget visions of sugar plum fairies: this Christmas Eve, when I tuck in for my long winter's nap, it'll be diamonds I'm dreaming of. I usually start curating my holiday wish list in September; by October I'm in edit mode; by November, a hardcopy is hand-delivered to my husband. Some may call it presumptuous, but I call it crisis prevention.

At the top of my list this Christmas is a diamond-decked jewel from Hearts On Fire. I spotted their new collection while browsing baubles at Chow Tai Fook in K11 and simply couldn't resist the constellation of starry stones that caught my eye from across the room.

Known for their perfectly symmetrical pattern of eight arrows and eight hearts, Hearts On Fire diamonds are cut so precisely and at such a high magnification that they light up like a proverbial Christmas tree. I have my heart set on the Fulfilment Heart Necklace, which showcases a heart-shaped centre stone embraced by nine surrounding diamonds. But I've also been swooning over the Lorelei Interlocking Diamond Heart Necklace, which seems like a suitable second act to the gorgeous gift that Francis bought in honour of our fifth anniversary this past September.

Since the holiday season wouldn't be complete without a splash of starlight, I've also added the star-shaped Illa earrings and pendant necklace to my wish list. Head designer Ilaria Lanzoni was inspired by the enchanting starry skies of her hometown in Italy and her captivating creations left me wishing on my own star that I'd find her designs beneath the branches of our Balsam Fir. After all, the Christmas tree isn't the only thing that should be topped with a glittering star.
