Together with brother Robert Ng, Philip Ng tops Forbes list of Singapore's 50 Richest. With a net-worth of US$10.1 billion, the sons of the late-property tycoon Ng Teng Fong also rank among the world's billionaires, taking the 108th spot. As CEO of Far East Organization, Philip Ng heads Singapore's largest private property developer, which has 730 developments in the residential, hospitality, retail, commercial and industrial sectors, including one in six private homes. The group was once again the top seller of private homes in 2012, with 2,181 units or 10 percent of the 22,290 new homes sold that year. Among its best-selling projects were The Hillier in Hillview Rise and Watertown in Punggol. Following a strategic corporate restructuring of listed subsidiary Far East Orchard, Ng stepped down as non-executive chairman and non-executive director in January 2013, but will stay on as strategic advisor in addition to his role as CEO of the parent company.
