Kim has helped steer the leading publishing company her mother founded towards being a learning service provider. Kim inherited her mother’s passion for influencing social change through education and believes that “publishers can’t just be publishers” in changing times. She heads the Nanmeebooks, Innovation Institute, a learning centre that provides workshops, camps and other services to kids and parents. She is also a columnist and has her own blog to promote science and reading. She recently started another educational project, the Gakken Classroom, which is a learning centre for young children that Kim believes will revolutionise how Thai kids learn after school.
