IWC Schaffhausen

The only major watch manufacture located in eastern Switzerland, International Watch Co. Schaffhausen, or IWC for short, has combined the finest Swiss engineering and pioneering American technology in its timepieces since the mid-1800s, when the company was founded. IWC is perhaps best known for its Portugieser collection, but the company produces many high-end watches, and it also follows a noteworthy policy of social and environmental responsibility. Besides using green energy and remaining carbon-neutral, IWC supports foundations for handicapped children and the Charles Darwin Foundation.
