The Macallan collaborates with award-winning El Celler de can Roca and Bacchanalia on a dinner of epic proportions.

It is the stuff gourmands’ dreams are made of: Two acclaimed restaurants teaming up with an established whisky label to create an exclusive, sumptuous meal. And that is exactly what one can expect at the upcoming Macallan Masters of Taste Singapore, a whisky-pairing dinner presented by The Macallan, award-winning modern European establishment Bacchanalia and Michelin-starred, 2013 World’s 50 Best Restaurants champion El Celler de Can Roca.
Held at Bacchanalia as part of the World Gourmet Summit (WGS) food festival, the one-night-only event features eight delectable courses paired with The Macallan’s finest products including its Sherry Oak 12 Years Old, Fine Oak 15 Years Old, Reflexion and No. 6. Half of the dishes are curated by El Celler de Can Roca’s owners Jordi and Josep Roca, and the rest by the Bacchanalia culinary team.
“The collaboration with Bacchanalia and The Macallan will create an experience that takes guests on a journey of gastronomic discovery fusing exceptional food with The Macallan’s finest whiskies. We want to make this one of the most memorable culinary experiences of our guests’ lives,” says Josep Roca. The dinner marks the first time that he and his brother are in Singapore. Its other highlights include a cocktail reception — where guests can savour whisky cocktails and canapés — and a silent auction in support of the Community Chest, the official charity partner of WGS.
