1. Desmond Lee at Axis Bar and Lounge
One-third of the Singapore team that clinched ninth place at the World Pastry Cup in Lyon last month, pastry chef Desmond Lee from Mandarin Oriental Singapore is spending this month showcasing delectable treats at Axis Bar and Lounge. The five-course tea menu starts with osmanthus tea jelly, with savoury cream cheese sandwiches, beef pie and Madagascar vanilla scones in between, ending with a three-tiered stand of desserts infused with the flavours of tea blends.

2. Tippling Club hosts Dominic Whisson
In Once Upon a Time at The Savoy, the senior bartender from American Bar at The Savoy stops by Tippling Club for a one-night-only take-over showcasing concoctions celebrating some of London’s most notorious boroughs. Ayo Adeyemi, executive sous chef at Tippling Club, will present five modern interpretations of classic Auguste Escoffier creations adapted to pair with the tipple.

3. Dirk Hoberg cooks at Monti
The chef from two-Michelin-starred Ophelia in Konstanz, Germany, will be in town for just four days as part of the International Chef Showcase at Monti, presented by Robert Parker Wine Advocate and Michelin Guide. Together with Monti’s Executive Chef, Luigi Calcagno, Hoberg will present four-course lunch and eight-course dinner menus featuring produce from south Germany, on the Swiss border, and ingredients from around the world, in masterpieces such as carabinero with cabbage, ginger and coriander; and venison paired with spinach, kumquat, hazelnut and celeriac.
