BoCHINche introduces Comilona

The nomad Argentine festival of food and wine is in town.

boCHINche hasn’t wasted a minute settling into its new abode since its recent move in the middle of this year. Instead, Singapore’s foremost Argentine restaurant strokes the flames of gastronomic desires by playing host to Comilona, an Argentine festival that celebrates the tantalising flavours and colourful culture of the country.

Happening from now till Friday, the highly anticipated festival is serving up a series of dinner collaborations that revolves around original Argentine products such as Argentine beef, Aji Molido (chilli powder) and cumin, complemented with an extensive selection of wine pairings, all of which are procured by a team of Argentinean culinary experts (eights chefs and one sommelier) flown in specially for this epicurean affair.

Zolio Chef Patron and Comilona founder Diego Jacquet, is one of the eight chefs who will whip up five-course dinners that differ from evening to evening.

Take a seat at the open kitchen bar counter to witness these true-blue Argentinean experts in action. You will also be treated to their commentary of the country’s food culture and get to feel, smell and taste its raw ingredients, before watching them transform into culinary masterpieces that truly celebrates the wonders of Argentina.

Comilona is held at boCHINche, and is ongoing till 28 October. Make your reservations at comilona@bochinche.com.sg.
