Eats, treats for Easter Sunday

Chocolate eggs and bunnies, and so much more.

1. St Regis Singapore

Three words: Easter champagne brunch. Look forward to whole-roasted lamb leg, onion waffle with sour cream, crispy poached egg with char-grilled asparagus and Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut NV at Brasserie Les Saveurs, and pick up the Easter Chocolate Cake and handcrafted pralines from La Pâtisserie.

Lobby level, 29 Tanglin Road: Tel: 6506 6860/6888; bls@stregis.com

2. Raffles Hotel

Not to be outdone, Raffles Grill presents its version of Easter Sunday Champagne Brunch, pouring Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé and Brut Réserve to go with Maine lobsters, Omaha beef tenderloin, Welsh lamb saddle and more. Egg hunts and goodie bags with treats keep kids occupied.

Grand Lobby, 1 Beach Road; Tel: 6412 1816, dining.singapore@raffles.com

3. Carlton Hotel

A hot cross bun baking class for just 10 parent–child pairs, Easter egg and gingerbread bunny painting, and balloon sculpting make for a fun-filled Resurrection Sunday. Café Mosaic pulls out all the stops for younger diners, but grownups won’t be neglected — munch on roasted OP beef, leg of lamb with tomato mint sauce, Pacific clams with mango sauce and more while the young ones play.

Level 1, 76 Bras Basah Road; Tel: 6311 8195; cafe.mosaic@carltonhotel.sg

4. Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

Melt Café, Dolce Vita, and Axis Bar and Lounge celebrate Easter in their own way — the first hosts an egg hunt and face-painting alongside its Sunday brunch buffet, which comes with a gourmet foie gras station and an alfresco barbecue; the second presents casatiello, a Neapolitan savoury cake served at Easter, and hot cross buns; the third offers carrot walnut cake and Easter baked-apple cheese gateau.

5 Raffles Avenue; Tel: 6885 3500; mosin-dining@mohg.com

5. Venchi

Dark chocolate, gianduja, white chocolate, milk chocolate with nuts, stracciatella with nibs — when it comes to chocolate eggs, premium Italian purveyor Venchi has got you covered. The treats even come packed in miniature egg cartons, as if they were sold in a candy supermarket.
