Take a trip to Thailand this Ramadan at the Halal-certified Carousel, as it brings authentic cuisine direct from the Land of Smiles. Three guest chefs from the culinary team of The Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai, Thailand, will be serving signature dishes such as yan ma muan poo nim thord (spicy soft shell crab salad with green mango and mint leaf) and gang ped ped yang (red curry with roasted duck and lychee) that will take your belly on a journey.

Rice, spice, and everything nice at Raffles Hotel
Dine at the Tiffin Room as its kebab and briyani festival returns, serving an array of traditional Indian flavours. For kebab lovers, a live station of mouth-watering galouti kebabs will be there to pair with the jhinga til tinka (prawns marinated in lemon juice and crushed peppers, deep fried with sesame seeds) and slow cooked dum murgh ki kacchi briyani (boneless chicken cubes cooked with saffron and mint flavoured basmati rice). With a curated melange of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies that are halal-prepared, there’s definitely a dish for you to spice things up. (Tiffin Room is not Halal certified, due to its sale of alcohol, but its kitchen practices Halal food preparation.)

As Ramadan ends and the celebratory season of Hari Raya Puasa arrives, Four Seasons Hotel will specially transform its One-Ninety restaurant for the month of July, turning it into a Middle-Eastern paradise helmed by Chef Adnan Al Masri from Four Seasons Hotel Doha. Get ready to savour beautiful cuts of succulent lamb kebabs and beef steaks, shrimp harra (tiger shrimp with a spicy tomato sauce), and kibbeh belseneh (kibbeh, minced meat, onion and nuts) served in traditional claypots. (One-Ninety Restaurant is not Halal certified, but the food for this event is prepared according to Halal standards.)
