Debuting in Singapore and making the fourth stop in its world tour is The Orchestration of Time, a travelling watch exhibition by Hermès. Held at The Grand Colonnade South, Bay Level (L1), The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, the exhibition is dedicated to the Slim d’Hermès wristwatch.
The Hermès Orchestration of Time exhibition boasts a curation of 11 precious Slim d’Hermès wristwatches that proudly showcase the Maison’s watchmaking savoir-faire. Presented in variants ranging from masculine to feminine, steel or rose gold, and set or unset models, they are marked by their beautifully designed numerals designed by French graphic designer Philippe Apeloig, created to exude a sense of liveliness and a carefree emotion.
Arranged like notes of music on a staff, these watches form five successive tableaus and detail the passage of time. Accompanying the watches are five carefully synchronised video performances by artist Eric Vernhes.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 11:00 to 21:00 (Sunday to Thursday) and 11:00 to 22:00 (Friday, Saturday) from Thursday, 16 June to Sunday, 26 June 2016.
