Hermès: It’s About Time

Hermès showcases a different side of its expertise by displaying its savoir-faire in haute horlogerie.

Delve into the world of Hermès timepieces at its Of Mastery and Time showcase that will take place from September 25 to October 5 at the Scotts Square Level 1 Atrium. Designed by Austrian Robert Stadler, the installation will be divided into two distinct spaces — “Day” is bathed in light, giving off an open and welcoming vibe while “Night” has muted illumination, exuding a calm and soothing quality.
Among the exceptional horologes that will be presented at the exposition are the manufacture’s exquisite Arceau Pocket Chevaux sauvages pieces unique pocket watches that flaunt equestrian motifs on their crystal covers. A crystal engraver will also be in attendance until September 28 to demonstrate wheel-engraving.
Another noteworthy collection that will be put on view is the Arceau Millefiori. Its pieces are crafted by Cristalleries Royales de Saint-Louis and comprises coloured crystal canes — arranged to form intricate floral motifs — encapsulated within a block of clear crystal. The Maison will also highlight its other artistic techniques in watchmaking, including French lacquering, enamelling, diamond-setting, stone marquetry and straw marquetry.
The Hermès Of Mastery and Time exhibition is located at Scotts Square Level 1 Atrium and will be open to public daily from September 25 to October 5, 11am to 9pm.
