Exciting things to do at Sentosa this June

School’s out this month and Sentosa is rolling out a wide array of activities to keep everyone in the family entertained.

Take away those gadgets and engage their attention with these exhilarating attractions

Morning: Ola Beach Club

Start your day with this beach paradise. One of Sentosa’s newest hotspots, the Ola Beach Club at Siloso Beach packs in plenty of gastronomic delights and water activities. Fuel up for a fun-filled day with a scrumptiously hearty Hawaiian-inspired breakfast or brunch. After that, skip over to the water sports centre, where you can enjoy banana boating, kayaking and stand-up paddling, among other highlights. For daredevils, slip on a Jetpack and let the water pressure propel you 30ft up into the air! There’s no time like the present to make your Iron Man flying fantasies come to life.

Ola Beach Club, Siloso Beach; 10am-7pm (Mon-Fri), 8am -7pm (Sat & Sun)

Afternoon: Mega Adventure Park

Post-lunch and re-energised, it’s time to put both brain and brawn to the test. Mega Adventure Park, founded by former British Army officer Alexander Blyth with a goal to build confidence, courage and self-esteem, is an outdoor obstacle course on Imbiah Hill. Mega Adventure Park operates MegaZip, Southeast Asia’s steepest zip wire that spans 450m, for an adrenaline-pumping experience where you fly at 60km/h over the jungle and beaches of Sentosa Island. There are also three other activities that will  get you excited, namely the MegaClimb (a 36-obstacle treetop ropes course), MegaJump (a 15-m free fall simulator) and MegaWall (a 15-m rock-climbing wall).

Evening: Siloso Beach Resort

Round off your day of family fun and bonding with some R&R at the Siloso Beach Resort. Bask in the soothing sounds of a cascading waterfall at the natural spring water landscape pool — with a cocktail in hand and the stars above. For dinner, get over to the Eco Alfresco Cafe for one of its all-time favourites prepared with home-grown herbs, or order in-room dining for some intimate family time. There are 184 rooms, each with bay windows that overlook the beach, along with 12 villas immersed in the natural rainforest. To make your stay especially memorable, get a rooftop garden suite, with a rooftop bath to complete the niceties. Since this is an eco resort, take the opportunity to be a part of its green initiatives. As part of its mission to help preserve the natural environment, Siloso Beach Resort also conducts Eco Tours to give guests a better understanding of environmental issues and sustainable construction techniques, among others.

Enrich your time together with activities that are both interactive and invigorating

Morning: Mosh!

At Singapore’s first interactive digital family edutainment park, imagination is the order of your day. Using state-of-the-art multimedia technology from Japan, MOSH! (pronounced “Moshi”) comprises five digital exhibits — Land, Air, Sea, Space and Fantasy. Land features a multi-touch detection display where kids can interact with a myriad of virtual characters through a game of Hide & Seek. Then, head over to Air to launch paper airplanes that can transform into unique aircraft such as propeller planes or jumbo jets, transporting you to different dreamscapes. Jump in at Sea, where hand-drawn aquatic creatures come alive in a colourful digital aquarium. After this, everyone in the family can take turns to have fun at Space, where you’ll set off a display of fireworks with your body movements. Don’t leave without a visit to Fantasy, where your tot gets to colour his or her very own MOSH!cot and meet the rest of the MOSH! family.
