Christmas with Society: The Baihakkis (3 of 5)

Burberry celebrates the month for reflection and merry-making with five young families, this time with the Baihakkis.

“We started off 2015 with the goal of moving into a bigger family home. With this in mind, we focused on growing our respective businesses. For me, it was about growing my spa clientele, increasing our treatments menu and working on collaborations with renowned beauty brands such as Crème Simon. My husband, who is a professional footballer, co-founded an interior design company and despite his hectic schedule, made the time to grow it. Our efforts have paid off and we will be moving to a beautiful new home located in the east side of Singapore in early 2016. Unfortunately, because of our hectic schedules, we have sacrificed time with our two kids Mika, six, and Moza, four, which is why whatever time we have is absolutely precious. We go out for meals and often stroll by the beach. Now at the end of 2015, I remind myself to count my blessings and be grateful for children who are understanding towards their parents.”
— Norfasarie Yahya
National footballer and former captain of the Young Lions. Baihakki was handpicked by Johor crown prince HRH Tunku Ismail Idris to play for Johor Darul Ta’zim FC. Norfasarie is an artist-turned-entrepreneur. The highlight of the year for the couple is the surpise news of their soon-to-be third child, who’s due in March 2016.
