Watch Burberry February 2017 Show

For Burberry’s highly-anticipated February 2017 Collection, Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey derived inspiration from the British artist Henry Moore, reinterpreting his take on scale, shape and texture into sculptural silhouettes and asymmetric designs.

Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Henry Moore Foundation, the British luxury house’s special collaboration extends beyond runway pieces to the new ad campaign. Lensed on location at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, Hertfordshire (the artist’s former home) by British fashion photographer Josh Olins, the models — a cast of 13 up-and-comers — are shot in the gardens alongside Moore’s sculpture Sheep Piece (1971–72) and a recreation of the artist’s Plastic Studio, both specially constructed for the shoot.

From 21–27 February 2017, Makers House will be hosting a special exhibition that not only showcases the February 2017 collection, visitors will get to explore the work — expect to see over 40 of Moore’s sculptures, monumental bronzes, working models, drawings and maquettes — and creative process of the artist that inspired it.

The show will be streamed live from Makers House on Burberry.com, Facebook Live, YouTube and Twitter.
