Land Rover gives back on National Day

Distributor Wearnes Automotive held a meaningful charity drive to celebrate Singapore’s 52nd birthday.

As our nation celebrates its 52nd birthday, there’s no better time than the present to foster an inclusive community for all. As such, Wearnes Automotive saw it fit to give back to society with its first-ever Charity Drive for Land Rover, organised together with Rainbow Centre Singapore, Singapore Recreation Club (SRC) and Land Rover Owners Singapore (LROS). The day saw a fleet of 50 Land Rover cars setting off from the showroom to the Rainbow Centre Schools at Margaret Drive and Yishun, where students with special needs were ferried along the Orchard Road shopping belt to SRC. At the location, they enjoyed a live screening of the National Day Parade and fantastic fireworks display. Corrine Chua, general manager for Jaguar Land Rover, Wearnes Automotive, said: “This is in line with Land Rover’s brand values of being part of a deserving cause and giving back to society.”
