BREAD LOVERS UNITE
Already well-loved for its pain au chocolat, croissants and Valrhona chocolate cake, Carlton Hotel's year-old Tuxedo Café & Pâtisserie has now set out to court the hearts of all bread lovers as well. Rolled fresh out of the oven by chief baker Andrew Loong is a new takeaway bread menu, which runs the gamut from plain and tomato cheese bagels to chocolate sour cherry bread and sugar butter twists. The only down side — you have to put in your order three days in advance.
