The latest addition to the hotel’s existing repertoire of snowskin delights, Raffles Singapore’s earl grey mooncake is a delicious blend of tea and chocolate. At its core lies a milk chocolate truffle, which is infused with black tea and studded with tiny dark chocolate-coated cereal puffs for the ultimate decadent treat.

COCOA CRAZE

For those with a sweet tooth, Shang Palace has rolled out a new Chocolate Trilogy collection comprising lotus paste mooncakes wrapped in exteriors of dark, milk and white chocolate. The flavours include a dark chocolate and candied orange blend, and a combination of white chocolate, green tea and coconut. Pair these with champagne for an extra-indulgent Mid-Autumn Festival.

NEON TREAT

Known for its signature durian mooncakes, Goodwood Park Hotel has introduced a winning tropical fruit concoction this season. Its latest creation comes encased in a cheery neon green and yellow skin, and is packed with lemongrass-infused pineapple puree for an aromatic blend of sweet and tangy flavours.

BLACK DIAMOND

While other restaurants are creating sweet, dessert-like mooncakes, Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant bucks the trend with its delectably savoury black truffle mooncake, which is covered in a gold-dusted black charcoal skin and stuffed with roasted chestnut, waxed duck, white lotus seed paste and a single yolk.

It’s all about snowskin mooncakes this season at Joël Robuchon Restaurant, which offers the festive treat in flavours of raspberry, champagne, caramel and coconut.
