Born from a shared love for design, mechanics and state-of-the-art engineering is the partnership between Roger Dubuis and the new FFF Racing Team created by 31 year-old Chinese tycoon Fu Songyang.
The watchmaker has taken on the role as primary sponsor and will accompany the team in 15 races across Europe and Asia, where two Lamborghinis and three McLarens, together with their five professional drivers, will proudly bear the colours of the Swiss watch manufacturer. Notable races include the Le Mans Cup in Imola and Le Mans, as well as the GT Asia championship with events held in Korea, Japan and China. China will also play host to a GT World Cup in Macau and a dedicated FFF event in Shanghai.
These events serve as the perfect platform to introduce the eight-piece limited edition of the Excalibur Quatuor that was launched to commemorate this fortuitous partnership: Originally launched in 2013 after five years of R&D, the revolutionary watch features four sprung balances together with five differentials to compensate for the debilitating effects of gravity on a watch’s escapement. This special edition features the FFF logo at 12 o’clock and shows off pink gold accents that provide a striking contrast against the charcoal rhodium-plated finishing and black DLC titanium case.
