Stacy Swee is the classic example of how one can possibly have it all. Having joined DBS in 2007 as an associate junior relationship manager, she quickly rose through the ranks and was appointed senior vice-president of DBS Private Bank within a mere seven years. Today, Swee, whose area of expertise lies in helping clients meet their long-term financial goals through a diversified portfolio in foreign exchange, equities, bonds and universal life insurance, leads a team of six that deals with North Asian clients from Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.

A mother of four young boys aged between eight and three, Swee admits that juggling family and work life can be quite a struggle. “But children are such a blessing in life and I am thankful for them. It does help that DBS is a family-oriented company,” she says.

For her stellar performance, Swee was conferred the titled of Outstanding Young Private Banker (Greater China-North Asia) at the 2016 Private Banker International Greater China Awards. “I’m grateful for this, but it was really only made possible with the combined efforts of many people. Awards are never just an individual’s work,” she asserts. Last year, Swee was also named Outstanding Young Private Banker (Singapore) at the Private Banker International (PBI) Global Wealth Summit & Awards 2015.
