Prestige Petite: Nicole Wee (4of5)

Four in our five-part interview series with society's kids, she shares her dream to follow in her parents' footsteps.

NICOLE WEE, 12

The daughter of legal eagles Laurence and Marisa Wee describes herself as a “rugged” little girl. Instead of dollhouses she prefers basketball. But even though she’d rather not have to dress up herself, this young lady draws beautiful sketches of gowns that her mum proudly saves. Wee also enjoys music and is able to play the guitar and piano by ear. Her favourites are “Demons” by Imagine Dragons and pieces by Chopin and Tchaikovsky.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A lawyer.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

The ability to freeze things. There is no snow in Singapore and this ability will help me achieve that. This way, I can go skiing without going to Switzerland or America.

Which three words describe you best?

Fun, adventurous and creative.

Name one thing that scares you.

Bugs.

What makes you happy?

Puppies.

Will you get married? If yes, do you already know to whom?

No! I will never get married.

What’s the toughest thing about being a kid?

School.

What is the coolest thing about your mum and dad?

My dad is crazy just like me and my mum has a sense of style.
