Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Bottega Veneta marks another milestone in Singapore with a new store concept designed by creative director Tomas Maier.
Craftsmanship is the Italian house’s calling card, and its devotion and passion to exquisite artisanal work extends to the vitrines and display counters with the slide-out billiard-cloth presentation pads. The refreshed interiors are now filled with custom-made pieces, such as the walnut tables, leather-sheathed door handles and pure New Zealand wool carpets that are specially dyed to complement the sensuous palette of matte neutrals and earth tones Maier chose to create intimacy and sophistication of an extraordinary shopping experience.
With the floor space now spanning 356 sq m, the expansion affords a more extensive range of offerings for both women and men, including handbags, small leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, jewelry, luggage, fragrances, eyewear and accessories. Maier also wanted to communicate Bottega Veneta as a luxury lifestyle brand, expressed in a selection of furniture pieces.
A highlight of the renewed store is the Customisation Atelier, where you can put your personal stamp on your favourite Bottega Veneta leather products with precious skins.
For the official reopening of the store this Sunday, October 16th, the house has an artisan flown in all the way from the Bottega Veneta Atelier in Montebello Vicentino. There are two time-slots to catch the special demonstration of the Intrecciato technique: 11am to 1pm and 3pm to 5pm.
