‘Twas All Hallows Eve

Ghosts, ghouls and a Kung Fu Panda gathered at Bacchanalia for the most terrifyingly exuberant party of Halloween week — Fang-tastic. Held for a good cause, the event saw proceeds from ticket sales and donations go towards the Prestige-Yellow Ribbon Children’s Fund, which reaches out to children of ex-offenders. Chaired by Stephanie Lee and co-chaired by Prestige’s Laura Lim, the fundraiser hosted some 200 costumed guests and saw speeches of gratitude by Lee and Wong Ai Ai, vice-chairman of the Yellow Ribbon Fund. Guests were kept entertained by games — including Pin the Fang (on the Dracula) and Eyeball Pong — as well as a dance performance of the undead to the tune of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”.
