Grab and Go

A select group of well-heeled travellers came together in February to celebrate Hartmann Luggage's first boutique in Singapore, including President of Samsonite Asia (Hartmann's parent company) Leo Suh, who had flown in especially for a showcase of the brand's diverse range of luggage and bags. Among the wanderlust who attended the Prestige co-hosted festivities was one familiar socialite who reminisced: “When I was a young girl visiting the US, I remember seeing beautiful people tugging Hartmann luggage around. I had to come see what they have now.” Another travel enthusiast, impressed with the design of the lightweight Intensity SPL (one of the favourites in the collection), was also overheard commenting: “Despite being utilitarian, it sports a leather handle, which gives it a touch of class.” With singer Rob Collins lending his vocals to the event, it's safe to say that she and the other guests enjoyed the conviviality of the occasion and also went home with new purchases in tow. — Suhana Ab
