It was a night of glitz and glamour at Tiffany & Co's worldwide premiere of its 2015 Masterpieces jewellery collection in Singapore. Held at the opulent Capitol Theatre, the exclusive soirée held on October 15 featured a presentation of the jewels, which are inspired by the splendour and glittering skyline of New York City after dark.
Some of the standout pieces on display included a gleaming necklace set in platinum and culminating in a cascade of round brilliant, princess-cut and square diamonds, as well as an art deco-styled bracelet mounted with baguette and round brilliant sparklers. This was accompanied by a fashion parade, where models strutted onstage in exquisite designs, such as an 18k gold necklace adorned with diamond-studded tassels and a pendant embellished with black onyx squares and baguette diamonds. There was also a showcase of the brand's other bejewelled creations including brooches bedecked with pink diamonds and a show-stopping statement necklace from its Schlumberger range.
Present at the premiere was Academy Award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon, who looked resplendent in an elegant black lace dress paired with lavish Tiffany & Co diamond jewellery. A fan of the jeweller, Witherspoon was the first to debut pieces from the Masterpieces collection at the MET Gala earlier this year. The stunning actress gamely posed for photos on the blue carpet that led into the building and was spotted talking to the brand's Design Director Francesca Amfitheatrof at the event.
Other highlights of the evening included a specially curated dinner by three-Michelin-starred chef Bruno Menard, music performances by acapella group Naturally 7 and The Voice Season 5 champion Tessanne Chin, and a spectacular dessert bar created by renowned pastry chef Janice Wong that resembled the New York skyline.
