KENT & CURWEN CENTENARY SPRINT CUP 2014, HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB SHATIN RACECOURSE; JANUARY 26
British luxury menswear brand Kent & Curwen reinforced its association with the royal sport of horse racing by holding the Kent & Curwen Centenary Sprint Cup 2014 at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Sha Tin Racecourse on January 26.
During the event, Kent & Curwen introduced its newly appointed brand ambassador, English football legend Michael Owen, who also has an interest in horse racing, being co-owner of Manor House Stables in the UK; similarly, Kent & Curwen’s longtime ambassador Aaron Kwok also has racing credentials as a racehorse owner.
The event began with a buffet luncheon at the Jockey Club Box, followed by a fashion presentation by models showcasing Kent & Curwen’s autumn/winter 2014 collection.
After the exciting Kent & Curwen Centenary Sprint Race, Owen and Kwok joined Julia Fung, Victor Fung, Sabrina Fung-Lam, Sunny Wong and Carissa Fortino to present the Kent & Curwen Centenary Sprint Cup trophy to actor Sammo Hung, owner of the winning horse, Amber Sky.
Among those enjoying the proceedings were Dennis Sun, Josephine Chiu, Moses Tang, Michael Wong, Winnie Chiu, Nancy Chiu, Matthew Chan, Harriet Tung, James Louey and many others.
