Saint Pierre was designed to impress. You might have heard about Singapore’s one Michelin-starred Saint Pierre, and you’ve definitely heard about the newest hotel on the block, W Hotel. If pool parties and glittering decor weren’t enough to enthral you, this modern French 70-seater eatery will. Here’s why:
Set against a prime view of the Petronas Twin Towers, Saint Pierre Restaurant offers a variety of set course menus for different occasions (and cravings). For lunch, there are three, four and five courses of fine French fare. When you’re feeling adventurous — and incredibly famished — you could go for the 16-course Adventure. Or, keep it anything but simple with the Classic, Discovery, or 8-course Chef’s Choice menu based on the season’s highlights.
Celebrity Chef Emmanuel Stroobant and his team of talented chefs headed by Chef KimKevin De Dood. Kuala Lumpur is particularly special to Chef Stroobant, as it’s where he discovered his continual love affair with Asian-inspired elements — and not to mention, is the city where the chef met his Malaysian-born wife! Returning to Kuala Lumpur after more than a decade and a half, he shares, is a venture he’s proud to embark on.
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Luxembourg-born Chef KimKevin brings a solid background of refined European classicism to the restaurant. The chef’s forte is culinary precision, as he shares, “Even if you have done the same thing 1000 times, ok is never good enough — it must be perfect.” Chef KimKevin also expressed his excitment to lead a team that “gives their all” in creating meals that diner will take their time to savour and remember. “I grew up with amazing food and loved every minute of it; now I intend to share that experience!”
