Fight Club: Bianca Indot & Tanya Tolman

Bianca Indot’s fitness journey has yielded more than just positive self-improvement, she has also gained a new family.

Bianca Indot

I love Strike boxing classes because it is a full-body workout and it’s a fantastic way to vent your stress in a fight club atmosphere. I love the fact it’s you against the bag. (In Strike you have your own punching bag and unlike a lot of boxing establishments, you don’t need a partner to hold boxing pads for you). Moreover the community at is like one big family.

On super lazy days, I draw inspiration from super-fit mothers such as Jessica Alba and Jennifer Lopez. Toned abs aren’t coming to you because you want them – you have to work hard at it!

Your body needs ample time to rest and recover so I try to get seven hours of sleep every night. I also make sure that I drink plenty of water and eat healthily. My diet consists mainly of lean protein and vegetables.

Strike is a full-body workout that challenges all levels of fitness. It’s amazing for toning muscles and burning massive calories. There are six rounds of working boxing combos and bodyweight movements. We also add in weights, power bags and slam balls to keep it interesting and engaging. The most appealing part of the workout is the energy and the music. It is empowering and invigorating to be a part of a class that pushes you to your limits, makes you feel fierce, and at the same time, is a massive party!

As a certified trainer, I will advise my clients to find a workout programme that they enjoy, and they will be able to stick with it. Results come when you make fitness your lifestyle. Fitness shouldn’t be a chore, it should be something you enjoy and feel a sense of accomplishment when finished. At Fire we have a programme for everyone. If you’re feeling unmotivated, just show up at Fire, and we will take care of you.
