Boucheron expands the Serpent Bohème Collection

The Maison updated the beloved collection that has become a Boucheron classic over the years.

Boucheron has launched an extension of the widely popular Serpent Bohème Collection, updating the collection with new creations while also staying true to its iconic motifs. Available from May 2017 in Boucheron boutiques, the collection includes small rings set with pavé stones, double-headed rings and statement bangles as well as watches.

Perfect for the strong, feminine woman, the Serpent Bohème collection now boasts an air of mystery and captivating aesthetics. Aside from the reinvention of the collection using transparent coloured hard stones, the collection also features pieces in stones such as citrine, onyx, amethyst, white mother-of-pearl and lapis lazuli, set on rings, pendants, long necklaces and bracelets, which are made of white, yellow and rose gold. All these variations allow the Serpent Bohème woman the freedom to express herself through the mixing and matching of the various stones set on the assorted pieces from the collection.

Amidst the array of updates on the collection, the Maison has stayed true to its distinction as a byword for excellence in jewellery with the Serpent Bohème motifs set on various pieces of the collection, which include the twisted chain which has become a Boucheron hallmark and the perfect complement to the Serpent Bohème motif. Symbolising the snake’s head, the classic drop has now been set with pavé diamonds or with coloured stones and crowned with gold beading, with the stones given more sparkle as the new honeycomb design allows light to pass through. Finally, sculpted gold is also used. A product of the Maison’s engravers’ expertise and dedication in craftsmanship, the compressed gold brings the snake to life with scales that can be seen on the charm for the diamond versions of the necklace and bracelet.
