The two companies will launch a new line for women’s Autumn/Winter 2017 with styles for both optical frames and sunglasses.

French luxury house Longchamp and Marchon Eyewear, Inc. have announced the signing of a new global licensing agreement for the development, production and distribution of Longchamp Eyewear collections. Under the design and creative direction of Sophie Delafontaine, Longchamp Artistic Director, the two companies will be launching the new women’s lines in Autumn/Winter 2017 with a full range of styles for both optical frames and sunglasses.

With the help of Marchon, one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of quality eyewear and sunwear, Longchamp aims to extend its reach to a major accessory segment in fashion. The soon-to-be-launched collection will be available for purchase in Longchamp boutiques, premium optical retail locations and multi-brand fashion channels as well as travel retail locations worldwide.

Longchamp CEO Jean Cassegrain was delighted with the new agreement. He explained how the eyewear will be a blend of French elegance and Parisian lifestyle that the Maison promotes worldwide through its offerings of shoes, ready-to-wear, bags, luggage and accessories.

President and CEO of Marchon Eyewear Nicola Zotta also expressed his delight in the agreement. “Developing eyewear that reflects Longchamp’s must-have, authentic products will service a need to the loyal fans of Longchamp worldwide, as well as add value to Marchon’s global customer network.” He also emphasised the meaning and importance of the addition of Longchamp to Marchon’s brand portfolio in their bid for global expansion.
