kate spade new york says “Bonjour!” to Paris

The first flagship store will open at Rue Saint-Honoré in summer 2017

Following the successful launch of kate spade new york’s Regent Street store in London last year, Kate Spade & Company has laid down the plans for yet another flagship store, this time on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris, marking the first kate spade new york specialty store in the market.

Set for an opening in summer 2017, it will be located at 418 Rue Saint-Honoré, occupying 2,000 sqft of space to showcase the brand in its most sophisticated and elegant expression. The design of the flagship embraces mid-century modern influences, while maintaining the authentic aesthetic of the neighbourhood in the 1st arrondissement, one of the oldest arrondissements in Paris, where the Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Garden are situated.

The store’s two-level façade will carry a traditional Parisian storefront, highlighted with painted wood and dark stone accents, coinciding with the overall store design inside, peppered with furniture from the kate spade new york home collection. The store will offer to customers and fans kate spade new york handbags, ready-to-wear, accessories, small leather goods, jewellery, watches, footwear and eyewear.

In celebration of the new flagship store, kate spade new york has created an exclusive limited edition clutch, fashioned in the vibrant colours of the French flag, to mark the brand’s ever growing bond with the country, succeeding kate spade new york’s current availability at the French luxury departmental store, Galleries Lafayette.
