Honda Malaysia announces its next-generation advanced safety technology, Honda Sensing, is now available in its D-segment leader, the new Accord. This marks the second model in Honda Malaysia’s product line-up that is equipped with Honda Sensing, after the all-new CR-V that was launched in July this year. Below, we’ve simplified a few key features you can expect from the upgraded Accord 2.4 VTi-L Advance with Honda Sensing:
Whether the sun is up or down, the stylish LED headlights for both front and rear complement the dynamic grille design and sophisticated body line. Distinctly noticeable, you’ll have a hard time picking your favourite angle.
Display Audio Touch-screen
Equipped with i-MID that is Apple CarPlay compatible and Android Auto ready, you can now tap on your iPhone or any Android phone to access directions, music, podcasts and more through the 7-inch display unit.
Honda Lane Watch
Whenever you signal right, the camera on the passenger-side mirror will turn on and display live video on your Display Audio Touch-screen, revealing nearly four times more than the average passenger-side mirror.
Driver-Assist Safety Features
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): helps you maintain a set following interval on the highway, so you don’t have to manually change your speed.
Forward Collision Warning (FCW) & Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS): helps brake the vehicle when it senses an otherwise unavoidable collision with a vehicle detected in front of you. If the FCW system determines that you are at risk of a collision with a detected vehicle, it will activate audio and visual alerts to warn you. If you fail to act, CMBS will automatically apply brake pressure.
Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS): the steering adjusts to help bring you back to the lane centre when your vehicle begins to stray from the centre of a detected lane without signalling.
Road Departure Mitigation (RDM): alerts you with rapid vibrations on the steering wheel following mild steering input to help keep you on the road or apply braking to help keep you from going off it.
Lane Departure Warning (LDW): alerts will flash and sound to help bring your attention to correcting the lane drift.
