Yod Chinsupakul

In 2011, foodie Yod was dismayed to find only inactive webboards when he searched for restaurant reviews. His own restaurant review website grew out of an organic need that millions shared; he named it Wongnai (which means “insider”). Now, in part due to a strategy of using user-generated reviews and incentives like free vouchers, Wongnai’s website and smart device apps are an authoritative source on where to eat in the Kingdom, allowing customers to search by location or category. Their appeal is broad and authoritative: the company has reported 105,000 visits to the website (per day), where 10,000 are restaurants are now listed.
