Prestige KK Special: Mikhail Razak Harris

In conjunction with the Prestige Malaysia KK Ball, Prestige Malaysia highlights six inspiring individuals who are paving the path for Sabah’s future. As the next generation of Sabah’s future leaders, they have found their footing in a place they can call home once again as they make their mark for a better tomorrow.

When Mikhail Razak Harris was 10, he dreamed of becoming an F1 driver. Today, the young man harbours an even bigger dream for change to materialise in Sabah, as he spearheads new growth in aquaculture, taking cue from his grandfather, Tan Sri Harris Salleh, the state’s former Chief Minister. Fondly known as Kyle to friends and family, he received his education abroad in Australia before returning to Malaysia to pursue International Business at Taylor’s University. His fervent passion for sports led him to gain experience at a sports technology start-up company before returning to Sabah to help out with the family business.

It’s been seven months since Kyle has headed Sabahebat Sdn. Bhd., a company focusing on agriculture and aquaculture management. “We’re importing more than we’re exporting as a country and I find that doesn’t make sense as we have a wealth of resources and potential areas suitable for aquaculture. This new project that we’re building will focus on introducing modern technology and aquaculture practices to Borneo,” he explains.
