Lanvin Does Digital

Lanvin invites five Prestige ladies to showcase its latest digital prints.

Lanvin might be over 125 years old, but its spirit of innovation never dies. Its latest ready-to-wear collection celebrates flat digital prints, using jacquards, silks and lamé crepes to create volume. The French fashion house invites five amazing ladies to model its colourful pieces in a special shoot for Prestige.

Paula Verhoeven

Dutch-Javanese model and actress Paula Verhoeven took a break from working on her second movie project to take part in our Lanvin shoot. “I really love the fact that this label has a very distinctive style,” she says. “It comes through in all of Lanvin’s dsigns, colours and materials.”

Lisa Thomas Tobin

Mutual fund and finance expert Lisa Thomas Tobin has admired Lanvin and its collections for as long as she can remember. ‘What I love about Lanvin is the brand’s timeless shapes, and also the ribbon and bow details that are just so unique to this label.”

Dian Sastrowardoyo Sutowo

The renowned actress is playing R.A. Kartini in her next movie, where she will share the screen with senior thespian Christine Hakim. “Lanvin’s look is never really too prim, which resonates with my own image,” she says. “Because I take what I do seriously, like acting and philanthropy, but at the same time I’m quite casual and more like ‘come as you are’, while still want to look fabulous.”

Junita Liesar

The jet-setting entrepreneur is running a year-long programme to combat domestic violence, as well as creating initiatives to give grants to less-fortunate children and help the senior citizens. Junita is also launching her high-end line of perfumes. “My personal style is actually more of a clean-cut and tapered look, but I just cannot resist Lanvin’s edgy take on elegance like the unique unfinished details,” she says.

She just launched InHype, a wearable art project that was showcased at Ciputra Artpreneur. “It’s often hard to find clothes that really fit me because I’m so small, but Lanvin never lets me down,” she says.
