WHAT’S IN THE SUITCASE?
Cool sneakers, jogging pants and a hoodie. I also always carry my gym kit: a tank top, shorts, sneakers, headphones and I’m ready to go.
WINTER WARDROBE ESSENTIAL
Ports 1961 men’s down jackets.
I’m currently spending all my time editing the pictures for my next issue of Fashion For Men [Vukmirovic is the publisher, editor-in-chief and photographer of this biannual magazine].
I love The Mercer Hotel in New York City. It feels like my home away from home. It’s situated at a great location, has impeccable service and a cosy atmosphere.
Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles is where I always have the most fun. It’s the place that has some of my sweetest memories.
MOST MEMORABLE TRIP
I’m in love with Tokyo, and Japan in general. I adore the unstoppable energy and the beautiful combination of tradition and modernity.
Japanese nature, especially the sakura and the almond tree blossom, is also something that always enchants me.
All Aman Resorts. They’re set in the most beautiful spots around the world and offer a variety of experiences that are just breathtaking. From pristine, white sand beaches to Unesco world heritage sites and thriving cities.
Download great television series on your laptop or phone – time goes by faster. Always travel with two bags or suitcases, if you can. One for shoes and one for clothes. Hydrate your face and hands when you’re flying.
I LOVE TRAVELLING TO…
New York, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro and Spain.
I take one sleeping pill before going to bed.
Venice, London or Rome.
Mandolin Aegean Bistro in Miami Design District. It was created by restoring a quaint Florida home into a restaurant with a full outdoor dining area, back house/indoor seating, a bakery/market component, and its own garden where they harvest their own seasonal ingredients. I just love it!
Caviar Kaspia in Place de la Madeleine in Paris. It’s a Parisian landmark and one of the best restaurants in the world. It’s a true gourmet institution.
Located upstairs, above the restaurant, is the beautiful caviar store. It’s a hidden gem. There’s a main room and a secret one decorated with old furniture, rugs and paintings. The cosy and old-fashioned atmosphere is what makes this place cool and trendy.
Bice in Milan is a traditional Italian restaurant with a nice ambience. It has good food, excellent risotto and the staff are very friendly. The old interior design is really cool. If you like traditional Italian food, this is where to go.
FAVOURITE PORTS 1961 STORE
The next new one, always!
