1. Cara Delevingne Made a Runway Comeback for Balmain
Model turned actress Cara Delevingne just made her comeback to the runway on Friday, Sept 28, when she became the first face of Balmain’s Spring 2019 show at Paris Fashion Week. Delevingne graced the runway while lip-syncing Prince’s “When Doves Cry” and walked down together with creative director Olivier Rousteing for the final.
Delevigne has shown her support to her fellow designers although she is still in her runway retirement since 2016. She appeared last February for the final show of the former Burberry’s creative director, Christopher Bailey where she wore a colourful rainbow fur coat in the Fall 2018 show that celebrated LGBTQ pride. “I found myself surrendering to the industry’s approval process. I felt like I needed validation from everyone. As a result, I lost sight of myself and what it meant to be happy, what it meant to be successful. I think it all stemmed from a deep-down feeling of wanting people to like me and love me,” as she wrote in an essay for TIME in 2016.

The Oscar-winning actress and Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow tied the knot with television producer Brad Falchuk in the Hamptons on Saturday. This second wedding for the both of them happened to fall on the same week of Paltrow’s 46th birthday. Cameron Diaz, Robert Downey Jr., and Jerry Seinfeld were among her closest friends who attended the private ceremony.
Paltrow was married to Chris Martin for 11 years before they “consciously uncoupled” in 2014 and had two children together, Apple and Moses. Falchuk also has two children, from his previous marriage. The newlyweds first met in 2010 on the set of “Glee”.

Only Rihanna can make a classic fashion look fresher and not at all dated. The pop star went to Dubai last weekend for hosting her Fenty Beauty line event at Sephora. She styled the trench coat with two different ways. First, she wore a custom Monse trench-dress that has a short hemline and upgrade her look with big crystal belt buckle. She completed her look with similarly-coloured beige stilettos, rectangular sunglasses, and a lot of jewellery. Next, she put on another belted Rihanna wore a trompe l’oeil silk trench dress, designed by Riccardo Tisci’s Spring Summer 2019 for Burberry. A few days after Michael Kors confirmed that they acquired Versace, Chanel announced the acquisition of a British swimwear brand called Orlebar Brown. The founder, Adam Brown, will remain to be as the creative director of the company. According to W Magazine, the company said swimwear makes up 36 per cent of the business. The brand was famous after Daniel Craig wore a pair of Orlebar Brown’s blue shorts in his movies Skyfall which he played as James Bond.
