New: Attarine by The Potato Head Group

Potato Head Group's answer to the farm-to-table dining approach.

Attarine by Potato Head Group

In the age where fine dining becomes rather passé and casual experience is embraced, Potato Head Group comes up with Attarine. The group's first modern, casual dining concept serves food "inspired by the flavours of the Spice Route".

Located on Jalan Gunawarman, Attarine features clean and simple interior, with lots of window for natural light to come in. Its approachable character is made clear with an open kitchen. The mix of table and casual counter seating makes for a fuss-free neighbourhood restaurant where friends can gather for coffee, working yuppies meet for lunch and families come for dinner.

Chef Jacob Burrell, who previously helmed the popular Big Sur Bakery in California, curates the menu at Attarine. Here, he showcases meats, vegetables, herbs and fruits dishes that are mostly locally-sourced.

The restaurant will be serving dishes from its wood-fire oven, including grilled meats, roasted vegetables and fresh bread. The menu is seasonal, with daily specials on the offer.

Among the signature dishes are Lamb Shoulder Chops cooked with saffron, braised onions and garlic, topped with walnuts, olives and pomegranate and Wood-Fired Whole Fish, seasoned with sea salt, long pepper and bay leaves. Seasonal vegetables include golden cauliflower with turmeric-cashew butter and wood-fired baby corn with chilli, dried mint and cheese curds.

Attarine will be open to public starting Saturday, October 15.
