Khew is president and CEO of CPG Corporation — formerly Singapore's Public Works Group — and managing director of CPG Consultants. Khew played an instrumental role in the takeover of CPG by the Chinese state-owned China Architecture Design & Research Group, which will help the company secure a stronger foothold in the China market. He has more than 28 years of experience under his belt, working on landmark projects such as the Gardens by the Bay, the new Supreme Court Building, and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. In his current roles, Khew manages a team of over 2,000 diverse talents cross the company's business both locally and overseas in India, Vietnam, Macau, the Philippines and the Middle East. Among CPG projects underway is the National Art Gallery, where the challenge is to retain the former Supreme Court and City Hall's charm and grandeur, while creating an art space for the future. Earlier last year, CPG was also appointed by Malaysia's SP Setia to provide master planning and architectural design consultancy services for the 110ha eco project, Setia Eco Cascadia. CPG won two awards at the Singapore Building Information Modeling Competition in 2012.
