Rodo's 60th Anniversary

Rodo celebrated its 60th anniversary with long-time Indonesian partner, Masari Group.

Italian leather goods brand Rodo, has held a 40-year-old relationship with Indonesia's Masari Group. For the brand's 60th anniversary, the CEO and second generation of the company, Gianni Dori, flew down to Jakarta in a special celebration.

"Masari's association with Rodo goes back 40 years," said Maggie M. Halim, Chairwoman of Masari Group during the 60th anniversary event of Rodo. "I first met Gianni Dori, the CEO of this wonderful Italian family business, in 1976, the year I started my fashion retailing business at Duta Merlin. It's the 60th anniversary of Rodo this year and I'm delighted that my good friend and colleague Gianni is able to join us for this celebration."

Together with Dori, the chairwoman welcomed over 150 guests to Rodo's celebration, held at The Nusantara Gaden Ballroom in The Dharmawangsa on May 19, where the brand's heritage was showcased through a special retrospective installation by the entrance. The new Indonesian ambassadors of the brand - Annisa Pohan, Marsha Timothy and Carissa Puteri - were officially introduced during the night, where guests were spotted clutching the dazzling creations from the fashion house.

The night continued with a trunk show of Rodo spring/summer 2016 collection and Rodo 60-16 Celebration Bag. which was designed to commemorate the anniversary.
