Audemars Piguet

Still owned by its founding families and based in the famed Vallée de Joux, the more than 140-year-old Swiss brand Audemars Piguet, often referred to as AP, remains one of the world’s leading watchmakers. Among its many accomplishments, the manufacture launched the first wristwatch with a perpetual calendar, developed the world's thinnest automatic movement with a gold central rotor and crafted the first case in forged carbon. All AP watches are made by hand using traditional techniques, including all of the timepieces in its legendary Royal Oak collection.
