Victoria Beckham has made a name for herself in fashion. Since launching her eponymous label in 2008, she has slowly built her reputation as a fashion designer and queen of chic, despite her claim(s) to fame as "Posh Spice" and "Mrs. Beckham". Beckham's name was cemented in the fashion industry when she was awarded Designer Brand of the Year at 2011's British Fashion Awards.
Today, Beckham launches a collaboration with Estee Lauder. The collection has created buzz in the recent weeks as this is her first ever makeup collection. Rather than a one-off series, the collaboration has produced makeup staples that women would undoubtedly love. "I have been collecting makeup for many years. I am always mixing colours to get what I want," Beckham says. "With this collection, I believe I have created many of the key pieces that you really need in your makeup kit. As a woman who likes to wear makeup, this is exactly what I want. Now I am excited to share it with women everywhere."
Some of the key pieces in the collection include nude lip liner, eye Kajal and illuminating cream. The collection is said "to be worn smudgy, with a confidence to be imperfect." It is divided into four series, each representing a city that Victoria loves: London, New York, LA and Paris.
"I want to make women feel empowered, to feel sexy and confident," Beckham says. "This makeup collection does that. I'm a girl's girl, I love to make women feel like the best version of themselves.
The Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder limited-edition make-up collection will be available at Selfridges, Selfridges.com, Victoriabeckham.com and Esteelauder.co.uk from September 13, priced from £22 to £68.
