Patek Philippe Gears Up For New York Exhibition

There has always been something rather poetic about timepieces. Whether through its intricate mechanism or the rich history behind its conception, every watch always tells a tale — and now, Patek Philippe is sharing its colourful story with the world through a comprehensive exhibition.

Staged in New York City, The Art of Watches, Grand Exhibition New York 2017 will take place over 10 days in July and offer visitors a glimpse into the watchmaker’s 178 years of tradition and savoir-faire in haute horlogerie. Spanning 13,218 sq-ft and spread out over two floors, the showcase is segmented into 10 different environments (including the Museum Room, US Historic Room and Grand Complications Room), each telling a different story. Pocket watches and wristwatches dating back to as early as 1530 will be on display, and live demonstrations by watchmakers and craftsmen will also be presented.

Watch connoisseurs, mark your calendars.

The Art of Watches, Grand Exhibition New York 2017 will run from July 13 to 23, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. It is open from 10:00am to 7:00pm daily (special extended evening hours on Thursday, July 20 from 10:00am to 9:00pm).
