VIP: Fools & Magicians

There’s magic in the air at Central’s newest restaurant opening.

What? The grand opening of Fools and Magicians on Arbuthnot Road was the hottest event of the season. With a ground level restaurant, cocktail bar and an underground music room called “Octave” – with a rockin’ dj deck, the night was lit. As the kids say.
Trick or treat? Free flowing cocktails – as expected – a night perforated with the sounds of popping champagne, many had the pleasure of meeting multi award-winning Mixologist, Tomi Ho who helms the bar. He served up house signatures Punch the Kow, Neon Dragon and The Pandan Smooch.
Down and dirty: The powers that be also invited magicians to wow the crowd as they roamed around the jam-packed venue with card tricks, optical illusions and such. Octave, the underground club directly below the restaurant, was unveiled late in the night – we saw some courageous calisthenics on the floor that was labelled “dancing”!
