La Prairie Presents: Skin Caviar Luxe Cream Remastered

Swiss artist Manon Wertenbroek’s partners with La Prairie for a unique exhibition celebrating the new formula.

At La Prairie, decades of dedication go into formulating skincare miracles – along with a focus on the scientific progress to deliver products of timeless aesthetics, award-winning efficacy, and luxuriant indulgence.

The popularity of the Swiss brand’s most acclaimed formula – Skin Caviar Luxe Cream – comes as no surprise, as its transformative claims are asserted by science and its devoted fan base that attest to its wonders. Caviar’s unique power to nourish and regenerate the skin has made it a power player since its launch in 1987. And now, with La Prairie’s drive for scientific innovation, the new version emerges: Skin Caviar Luxe Cream remastered with Caviar Premier – a facelift for its award-winning recipe that promises never-before-seen lifting and firming results.

To commemorate its latest launch, La Prairie has collaborated with fellow Swiss native, Manon Wertenbroek to reflect the brand’s storied heritage of caviar expertise – science, aesthetics and indulgence – in three pieces of artwork. Adopting the style and likeness of the pivotal artist, Niki de Saint Phalle’s work (the inspiration behind La Prairie’s signature cobalt blue branding), Wetenbroek borrows the iconic hues from the late de Saint Phalle to pay tribute to both the artist and the brand.

“What draws me to the work of Niki de Saint Phalle is her strong and instinctive use of colour and form and the fact that she was never afraid to voice her ideas”, explains Wertenbroek. “In my work, I am constantly seeking the right balance between the instinctive and imprecise aspects of the piece and the precision of the reflective surfaces with which I work. I see the same devotion to precision, balance and beauty in the La Prairie aesthetic and approach, which is what attracted me to this project,” she continues.

In an exceptional and powerful partnership between La Prairie and the artists Niki de Saint Phalle and Manon Wertenbroek – comes The Masterpiece Remastered – an exhibition which explores colour, values, femininity, Swiss talent and precision. The installation creates a dialogue between the works of these two pioneering artists, which embodies the essence of La Prairie.
