Available in soft leathers such as calfskin, crocodile and python, the supple Palazzo Empire bag has evolved with more colourful incarnations, including the Medium Aqua Peach and Large Yellow Wave options, often accessorised with foxtail charms and wide, shoulder-friendly sport straps that allow the bag to be carried in the hand or worn across the body. Versatility is further enhanced by functional pockets built into the carryall’s linen lining.
Painstakingly assembled by skilled artisans, the Palazzo Empire features a cork-made contour line at its base to give the distinctive curved shape, secured with metallic bumper studs and double-stitched for durability. Details on the interior of the bag are not forgotten, with each bag embossed with a gold logo by a hot stamp machine.
The Medusa head, the icon that represents the world of Versace, is affixed to the front central closure during the final stages of production and defines the new Versace versatility: wearable, desirable and very much active in the complexities of everyday life.
