Davinder Singh

Drew & Napier CEO Davinder Singh was, in 2013, once again Singapore's only litigator to be ranked a “Star Individual” by prestigious legal publication Chambers Asia-Pacific, while the firm's litigation practice, spearheaded by Singh, was ranked Band 1 for the seventh consecutive year. The much awarded firm also rated best in class for Intellectual Property, Restructuring & Insolvency, Projects & Energy, and Telecommunications, Media & Technology. A lawyer and advocate for more than 30 years, Singh has litigated cases in almost every area of the law and is widely considered Singapore's counsel of choice. Among his high-profile cases was his representation of Singapore Press Holdings in the suit brought by former CEO of the National Kidney Foundation TT Durai for defamation. In 2012, he became the first Singapore senior counsel to represent a foreign government in a court case abroad. Singh joined Drew & Napier's Litigation Department after graduating from NUS in 1982.
