LOUIS XIII HOTEL

PRIME PROPERTY

Stephen Hung and his wife Deborah welcomed his Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and VIP guests to a pre-Monaco Grand Prix party at the principality’s opulent Hôtel Metropole Monte-Carlo. The guests were treated to an exclusive preview of the 200-room Louis XIII Hotel that the Hungs are opening in Macau, which is being built at the cost of more than US$7 million per room. They also learned that the hotel’s flagship restaurant will be an outpost of the three-Michelinstarred L’Ambroisie in Paris, and that the invitation-only shopping mall, called Atelier, will only sell couture. A fleet of 30 red Rolls-Royces has been ordered for the property, which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2016.
